INTERNSHIPS
We offer students the opportunity to do an internship in machining techniques or mechanical engineering. This internship allows the student to become familiar with different machining methods. There is always a possibility of getting a job after it’s completion.

Tasks and requirements
Tasks
- Adjust and operate CNC milling and/or lathes (2-5 axis) to do precision machining tasks;
- Accomplish pre-production tasks;
- Read technical drawings;
- Assure the maximum efficiency for manufacturing pieces;
- Verify conformity and inspect parts according tolerances;
- Make required adjustments and resolve technical issues;
- Participate to increase the productivity of the department;
- Work according to the standards and safety rules;
- Any other related tasks.
Requirements
- Have an AVS in numerical control machine tool operation or a DVS in machining techniques;
- Experience (an asset);
- Organizational and time planning skills;
- Ability to work in team;
- Be thorough and diligent.
